HANUKKAH: A BRIGHT LIGHT IN DARK TIMES
The eight-day Jewish celebration known as
Hanukkah or the Feast of Dedication, commemorates
the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem
following the Jewish victory over their Greco-Syrian
oppressors in the Maccabean revolt.
Surely the light of the menorah embodied the
hope of Israel during that very dark time.
Our newest booklet,
Hanukkah: A Bright Light in Dark Times,
explores the connection between the hope
represented by the light of the menorah
and the ultimate hope of Israel,
the Light of the World,
Messiah Jesus.
