Part-Time Toronto Messianic Centre Director

The Toronto Messianic Centre (TMC) is designed to be a focal point for evangelistic training and evangelistic outreach – specifically in order to reach the Jewish community of Toronto. 

Although existing Mission staff members and others are available to teach and facilitate specific events, the Director of the TMC plans, promotes and hosts the Centre’s events (such as movie nights, evangelism seminars, Bible studies, etc.).    

Opportunities to be involved in additional Chosen People Ministries’ events and outreach will be possible, depending on skills and ministry need.

The position is part-time – 20 hours per week. 

Chosen People Ministries is one of the oldest and largest evangelical missions in the world.  Our goals are to reach out to Jewish people with the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah and to equip our Christian brothers and sisters to do the same.  We are at work in about 20 countries and have been established in Canada since the 1940s.

Requirements

  • A sincere love for the Jewish people (Genesis 12:2-3; Psalm 122:6; Romans 1:16; Romans 10:1) and evidence of a growing Christian faith.
  • An outgoing personality with the ability to connect effectively with both believers and not-yet-believers – especially those in the Jewish community.  An understanding of today’s Jewish community and Judaism is an important asset. 
  • A clear and strong ability to plan events, monitor budgeting and coordinate program details.
  • Personal initiative, self-motivation and an ability to handle scheduling and promotional details, maintaining strong communication with Mission staff.
